Pray for Las Vegas

Finding Hope and Peace Amidst Tragedy

Today, I join my fellow Americans in grieving the terrible tragedy taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada. On the one hand, we ask ourselves, “Who could do such a thing?” On the other, we are grateful for the first responders and brave individuals who sprang into action. I personally was heartened and proud to hear stories of young people who gave their clothing to make tourniquets and ease the suffering of the victims of this terrible crime.

But on the heels of such tragedy and the devastating hurricanes in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico, I understand why people may feel increasingly fearful, unsettled, and even angry. What we see on our television screens and in our own lives can leave us devastated. But there is One greater than any natural disaster and any evil force in this world. There is hope for you. There is peace. There is assurance. And it is only through Jesus Christ.

Please join me in praying for all the families affected. And please pray for our nation—that there would be revival and spiritual awakening and that the gospel of Jesus Christ will reach every heart and fill each life with hope.

If you would like to know more about this hope and peace, or if you would like to pray with someone, we would love to talk to you. Our team can be reached anytime at 1-800-789-1473.

Thank you for praying with me. May God show You His love and comfort in a powerful way. And may He continue to bless America.
