The prophet Jeremiah was in prison while his city was under siege, and God said to him: “Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know” (33:3). Dr. Stanley assures us that God is just as poised to answer our prayers as He was Jeremiah’s. Lift up your prayers to God, and He will answer.
